About Our Business
About The Products
The most important element of our product is the fabric used as a cleaning material. It
consists of thousands of small rectangular plastic fibers. These fibers are flexible, and virtually
non-stick.
The product:
1) Cleans better than most materials
2) Is virtually scratch free
3) Rinses clean
We can form this fabric into various shapes. Whatever products are currently on the market can
be used in a number of chores, (here with the Pool & Spa label attached, and 3) the Mytee Foot,
which is like a slipper that can be used for the bottom of the pool or on the decks.
Primary among these is the Mytee Mitt ™ that, in addition to the basic fabric benefits mentioned
above, allows the user to
1) Cover a larger area with each swipe
2) Protect their hands from scrapes and chemicals
3) Use without the need to grip the product. When using a sponge or pad on a large chore
your hand and wrist are strained and tired. The mitt design allows the hand to relax and the
strength of the upper arm may be applied to the chore.
We have received numerous verbal and written testimonials from users and enthusiastic
reports of sales from our retailers. One quote in particular strikes home to the need for more
working capital…“the only problem with your mitt is trying to get enough of them”.
In addition, we manufacture the traditional cleaning pad and backed sponges (pictured above
right) in various sizes and pack-outs.
Future plans are focused on broadening the line of products available for home use, in order to
create a line with enough products to overcome the inertia of the large retailer buyer that is our
major barrier to entry into the mass markets, as explained below. These include, but not
limited to, a mop, a toilet bowl brush, a handled dish washer, a window washer, etc.
One item in particular holds tremendous promise and in patented. This is a soap pad similar
to our standard pad (approximately 2” X 3”) but which contains soap paste. The product would
have all the benefits that the material provides, but in addition;
1) It would only activate the soap with the use of water. The user could handle the pad in its
dry state without getting soap on their hands.
2) It would not rust as standard steel pads do.
3) It would benefit from the low-cost, disposability, etc that are the reasons for the success
of the pads currently available.
All products are patent protected .
The Material
All of the Mytee Mitt ™ products incorporate the patented Mytee Mitt material. The key feature of
the material is that it cleans as well as standard materials but will not scratch delicate surfaces.
The material is made from a teflon-like soft plastic and shaped in what we call “mini-
spatulas”. The surface of the material is covered with thousands of these mini fibers. When
pressed onto the surface to be cleaned, They lay down flat and parallel to the surface with the
cleaning edge of the material gliding along parallel to the surface but perpendicular to the dirt.
Since they lay flat on the surface they cannot harm it, but when they encounter dirt the fibers
cannot go around or over the dirt and are forced to undercur the dirt, much like a spatula works
when flipping an egg or pancake.
All of the force used in cleaning is applied to the dirt, not the surface being cleaned. This
dynamic combination allows great cleaning with no scrathing and less effort.
In addition, the design of the fibers combined with the non-stick property of the plastic means
that the dirt collected will rinse out easily. Standard cleaning pads and sponges tend to trap the
dirt, leading to souring mildew and germ collection. Everyone has experienced this when
cleaning a scrambled egg pan. The egg stays in the pad and cannot be rinsed out. With the
patented Mytee Mitt ™ material, the scramled eggs have nothing to hold them and can be
quickly rinsed away.
The product, in short;
1. Cleans better
2. Scratches less
3. Rinses clean
It is perfect for such jobs as:
A. Tiles
B. Counter-tops
C. Cars
D. Boats
E. Pools
F. Floors
G. Furniture
